My name is Bella and I am fairly new to Bare Paws. I am a tiny little girl at
less than 5 pounds and Foster My foster mom says I am very petite, whatever
that means...maybe it means I will get extra treats???? My story before Bare
Paws is a little clouded although I have had at least one litter in my life and
probably lots more than that. I didn't come with any records at all so the
rescue is guessing that I am somewhere between 1 to 3 years old. But
regardless of my history, what my foster mom knows for sure is that I am a very
friendly cuddle bug. I am a little hesitant at first with new people but warm up
very quickly. I love to cuddle on the sofa with Mom and she lets me sleep in
the bed with her at night. I cuddle in real close to her so that I stay warm. And
when I think Mom is starting to wake up in the morning, I crawl up and drape
myself across her neck and give her kisses and wiggle my little butt in her
face. It's just my way to say "Good Morning". I get along OK with my three
foster siblings and they let me walk all over them and push them off Mom's lap. If they step on me though, I will snap at them, so perhaps a home where I am the only princess or perhaps have one other little dog buddy would be good.
My foster sister Angel does get upset with me though when I try to steal her food and she will
growl but I know to leave her alone then. I don't seem to have any interest at
all with the cat. I LOVE to eat and do have a problem with trying to inhale my
food so Mom has to feed me from an anti-gulp bowl. We are working on potty
training and I am usually pretty good about going potty outside but when I
forget I will head towards a puppy pad. I don't show too much interest in
playing with toys as yet but I am usually always interested in where my human
is all the time. Did I tell you that I LOVE to eat???? And I am always interested
in treats.
***Because we were told that Bella was kept in a closet and brought out only to
be bred by the people who rescued her from the former owner, we are not
willing to adopt to a home where a crate will be used for anything other than
auto traveling. Bella will be ready to go to her new forever home as soon as
she is fully vetted including being spayed in the next couple of weeks.
